Meet the togs

Here are some of the excellent photographers who regularly contribute to the Sportsunday galleries. Has been a photographer all her working life, some might say she has never had a proper job. Co-founder of Bradshaws of Burnley Photographers, 25 years ago with husband David, mother of 2 daughters and a son. Twice winner of the Fuji Film Awards for her wedding photography.www.bradshawsofburnley.com
Full time photographer and part time fly fisherman, who wishes it was the other way around. Interest in photography began when he was given a Leica camera outfit 3o years ago (and is still using it LOL) loves black and white images.
Fell running and road biking vie for time between injury and work. A regular contributor to the local Telegraph newspaper and recently had a double page spread in Lancashire Life magazine. Member and ex president of Accrington Road Runners, and active member of North Lancs Road Club.


A welcome addition to the Sportsunday team, is Lake District based photographer Dave Powell. He exhibits his landscape photgraphy in his gallery in Staveley http://www.gatefootgallery.com a keen walker and cyclist, he has a close association with http://www.wheelbase.co.uk who are also based in Staveley

AKA Dave the Diver is Sportsunday's underwater photographer. Dave returned to full time education at the tender age of 50 and obtained a BA (hons) degree in photographic media, this combined with being a Padi Diving Instructor. John Ellison's interest in photography began when he was given a Zenit camera in the late eighties and started following a mates band around Leeds and Bradford. A life-long devotee of cycling, as a youngster he used to race MTB cross country, but lost interest when beer, girls and motorbikes came along. He's back in the saddle again now and enjoying every minute of it.
