Preston Pedalfest (free to download)

What is the PRESTON PedalFest?
Preston PedalFest Cycle Sportive is a cycle ride which will take place from Avenham Park, Preston on Sunday 24th July 2016.

There are two routes available and both start from the beautiful Avenham Park, Preston. The long route initially heads out of the park and over towards Mellor and then Whalley, taking in some of the beautiful Ribble Valley lanes and hills. From Whalley you will head out via Great Mitton & then Whitewell before arriving in Dunsop Bridge to tackle the infamous Trough climb. Having earned a food stop you will head down into Abbeystead for a half way feed.

Following the food stop the homeward leg skirts around the Forest of Bowland, along some quiet country lanes through Oakenclough and Inglewhite before heading through Broughton and Woodplumpton. From here you will meander your way back to Avenham Park via Preston Docks where you can relax and take in all that Avenham Park has to offer.
